For the fourth year in a row, Alan Wilzig and Dan Sperling organized a charity event for Camp Sundown. Alan and Dan, with the help of numerous volunteers, opened Wilzig Racing Manor to DFC for a day to remember.

Over 70 supercars made their way up the Taconic State Parkway to enjoy a perfect summer day at WRM. Donors were treated to paced laps of WRM’s 1.1 mile circuit, hot laps from factory McLaren racing drivers in a 570S, and scenic helicopter rides. Aston Martin even brought the only DB11 show car in the country for everyone to check out up close. Breaks in the action were provided by a professional magician, a catered lunch, and a Louis XIII cognac tasting.

In all, over $104,000 was raised for XP Society to help Camp Sundown continue its operations. That total more than doubles last year’s event!. Camp Sundown, run by the Xeroderma Pigmentosum Society, provides year-round services for children suffering from XP. To learn more, check out XPS.org. Thanks to all the volunteers and sponsors for making this year’s event bigger than ever!
