Camp Sundown benefited from the generosity of Alan Wilzig, Dan Sperling, and Driving Force Club again this year on June 25th. The 5th annual fundraiser for the camp, which neighbors Wilzig Racing Manor in upstate NY, drew over 70 cars and more than 100 people for the cause.

Donors were greeted at WRM’s Museum by volunteers and sponsors. This year, guests could browse a selection of Chopard jewelry, practice their swing with Golf Pro Delivered, and lap WRM’s 1.1 mile track in a McLaren 570S from Long Island Sports Cars. The all-new McLaren 720S also made an appearance before arriving at dealers later this summer.

The track went hot at noon for drivers to enjoy hot laps around the track. A helicopter and several photographers were on hand to capture the action. Food trucks provided guests with lunch and a number of donated items were auctioned off. By the end of the day, over $80,000 was raised! Those funds will go directly to help the XP Society maintain Camp Sundown and support children who suffer from Xeroderma Pigmentosum.
